Boyd Sussex, athletic director of Milbank High School, has been named Region III athletic director of the year by the South Dakota High School Activities Association. Sussex was nominated by members of the South Dakota Interscholastic Athletic Administration Association.
Sussex has been employed by the Milbank School District for 28 years. He coached the Bulldog for 21 years, leading his team to a Class A Boys Basketball Championship in 2005. Sussex will be in his eighth year as Athletic Director.
