Brass Rail Takes First in Co-Ed Softball Tournament

The co-ed softball league in Milbank concluded its season Monday with the Brass Rail earning the championship title. The team was the overall winner of the season-end tournament as well as in the league standings.

In the double-elimination tournament, the Brew Jays defeated the Brass Rail in its first contest, but the Rail came back to down Brew Jays to take the championship. The Brew Jays defeated Pro Image-Design Electronics to take second place, which left Pro Image-Design Electronics in third.

“I would like to thank all the teams and players for another successful season,” said Randy Folk, league organizer. “Also thank you to Ron and the crew for keeping the fields prepared for the games. Thank you to everyone who was involved with the program this season. Hope to see you back next year.”
