Milbank High School Homecoming Coronation was performed before a packed house this evening. The ceremony concluded with the crowning of Queen Morgan Schmitt, daughter of Neal and Lisa Schmitt, and King Isaac Snaza, son of Brad and Sara Snaza. They will reign over the 2015 Homecoming festivities this week. 2014 Royalty, Anna Kurtz and Brady Krause, crowned their successors.
“Commercials” was the theme for the evening’s entertainment. The Seniors using “Jack Link’s”, the Juniors using “DirectTV”, the Sophomores using “Old Spice”, and the Freshmen using “State Farm” amused the audience with skits. The Freshmen were declared the winners of the skit competition.
The Student Council also put on a skit, the MHS choir and band added musical accompaniment, and the MHS cheerleaders led the crowd in the school song.
The evening wrapped up with the annual hot dog feed and the burning of the “M”.
