Bulldog Golfers Chip Away At Scores in Redfield

The Milbank Area boys golf team continues to chip away at reducing its scores during the Pheasant Invitational in Redfield Tuesday, September 15, at Fischer Grove Golf Course. The Bulldogs finished the day with a team score of 417.

Sioux Valley landed in first place with a 338. Groton Area was second at 360 while Sisseton took third at 368. Mobridge-Pollock finished fourth with a 383, and Redfield-Doland placed fifth at 395. Nate Neilsen of Sisseton was the medalist with an 18-hole round of 78.

For the Bulldogs, Noah Pillatzki held the low score of 96 (48-48), but was out of the individual place medalists by five strokes. Adam Thomas shot a 99 (47-52) while Isaac Nolz ended the day with a 105 (54-51). Will Mischel shot a 117 (58-59). Chase Pinkert and Casey Buttke each ended the tournament with a score of 123.
