The Babble-Ons Toastmasters Club met Thursday, October 15, in the State Auto cafeteria with Jessica Roggenbuck serving as the Toastmaster. The word of the day was Proclivity, which means an inclination or predisposition to something.
Annavel Quintana was the first speaker for the event. She presented Project 1, the Ice Breaker, out of the Competent Communications manual. The title of Annavel’s speech was My Life.
Jonathan Ydstie was the second speaker of the day. He presented Project 9 out of the Competent Communications manual with a speech entitled You Can Afford It.
Kirk Simmons was the table topics master. Those participating in table topics were Natalie Remund, Cindy Bird, Mike Erickson and Jessica Roggenbuck.
