Mielitz, Hoeke Named to Volleyball Teams

Juniors Caryssa Mielitz and Mikaela Hoeke earned season-end volleyball awards following a successful 2015 season

Mielitz was named to the 2015 Class A All-State volleyball team as an honorable mention. She is a three-year starter for the Lady Bulldogs and is an outside hitter.                                                                                                                         Mielitz wrapped up her junior year with 416 kills, 62 aces, 346 digs, 24 assists, and 16 solo blocks. Thus far in her career she has collected 650 kills, 106 aces, 558 digs, 41 assists, 20 solo, and seven assisted blocks.

Hoeke is a two-year starter for the Lady Bulldogs and is a setter. She wrapped up the 2015 season with 540 assists, 70 kills, 37 aces, 352 digs, 1 solo block and two assisted blocks.

Both Mielitz and Hoeke were recently named to the Northeast Conference All-Conference volleyball team for their success this season.
