Plans for New Chinese Restaurant in Milbank Underway

The executive director of the Grant County Development Corporation sees fortune cookies in your future. The Valley Express recently spoke with Bobbie Bohlen who shared some developing news.

She said the GCDC has plans on the table to add a new Chinese restaurant to the lineup of Milbank eateries.

“We have been in contact several times and have a few locations in mind,” Bohlen stated. “Nothing is official, yet,” she added, “but I am confident this will go through.”

“When we focus on a certain area, we tend to have good results,” she noted. “When we encourage art, that sector grows. Now we are encouraging eating establishments.”

The mission of the GCDC is to promote, encourage, and advance the development of private enterprise, local employment opportunities, area tourism, and growth through the expansion of business and industry in Grant County.
