MBDA-Header-2 (1)The Milbank Ball Diamond Association (MBDA) will host its annual registration for the upcoming youth baseball and softball programs. Mandatory registration for players age four through 18 will take place Thursday, March 31, and Thursday, April 7, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Milbank Visitor Center community room.

Programs offered in Milbank and the surrounding communities are: T-Ball, U8, U10 and U12 baseball, U10, U12 and U14 youth softball and Junior Teener, Teener, and Legion baseball.

The purpose of MBDA is to establish and administer a comprehensive baseball and softball program for the City of Milbank and the surrounding area. “MBDA programs emphasize instruction and recreation and are structured to be non-discriminatory in the hopes of attracting as many interested youth as possible,” said Darin Mertens, one of the MBDA administrators.

Additional team meetings will take place for the Junior Teener, Teener, and Legion programs at a later date. Travis Lester and Scott Hoeke will coach the Junior Teeners and Dustin Lester will lead the Teener team. Ron Krause will continue as coach for the Legion team.
