New information has been released regarding the death investigation first reported by The Valley Express. Local law enforcement and the Office of Attorney General Marty Jackley have confirmed to The Valley Express that the case is now being treated as a murder. A body was discovered by a landowner on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 17, in rural western Grant County.
This appears to be an isolated incident and law enforcement has no indication at this time there is any danger to the public. The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office and the Division of Criminal Investigation.
