Only 4 Seconds Separates Top WVRA Teams

According to organizer Kathy Tyler, 28 teams participated in the fifth team penning of the Whetstone Valley Rodeo Association’s season. Only four seconds separated the first three teams. Tom Graham, Mike McKernan, and Joanie Hills took home the first place money. Cody McMahon, Randy Schuchard, and Brad Hansen took second. Finishing in third place was the team of Keith Kelly, Joe Kanthak, and Don Peterson.

Nineteen teams were challenged to a bit of math in the Add ‘Em Up event. Randy and Shane Schuchard and Tom Graham won the event. Jason Kriz, Mike McKernan and Cody McMahon placed second.

The final team penning of the season is Saturday, September 24. The annual Buckle Run follows.
