Four Milbank High School grapplers earned a top eight finish at the annual Lee Wolf Invitational at Aberdeen Central High School on January 28. Freshman Eli Fischer earned a second place finish. Cole Dockter placed fifth, Alec Bien sixth, and Riley Folk, eighth. Jose Chen and Ben Nelson, both seniors, also competed.

Milbank fielded a small team for the tournament as a result of injuries and lineup changes.

The Dawgs finished in fourteenth place in the team standings with 44.5 points. Bismarck Century won the event with 234.5 points. Mandan, North Dakota, was second with 168.5. The host team, Aberdeen Central, took third with 162.5.

Milbank will host Webster Thursday, February 2, in their last dual match of the season. The seniors and their parents will also be recognized. Wrestling begins at 6:30 p.m.
