Bulldogs Wrap Up Dual Wrestling Season

The Milbank Bulldogs ended their dual wrestling season with a 41-33 loss to the Webster Bearcats Thursday, February 2, at the Milbank High School Armory. The Dawgs finish with a 11-8 dual record this season.

Six seniors and their parents were recognized for their contribution to the team. Competing in the last home match of their high school career were: Jake Anderson, Jose Chen, Riley Folk, Tyler Krause, Taran Mogard, and Ben Nelson.

The team continues to face injuries and lineup changes, but stuck close to the top Class B Bearcats. Earning victories for the Bulldogs were: Eli Fischer, Tyler Krause, Breyden Miller, Jose Chen, Riley Folk, and Angel Chen.

Milbank will wrap up its regular season at the Huron Invitational on Saturday, February 11. The team then vies for places at the State Class A tournament at the Region 1A meet in Mitchell Saturday, February 18.
