The MHS girls golf team hit a season low score of 416 during the Ortonville Invitational meet Wednesday, May 3. “I was very pleased with how the girls played,” commented Head Coach Mark Keeton. “Our 416 team score was 14 strokes better than any team score we have had the past two seasons. We spent a lot of time this week chipping and putting. This practice made a big difference at the meet.”

Kylie Kasuske shot her best tournament round at 90 and finished fourth in the individual standings. Tori Quade carded her best score of 106, which landed her in 16th place. Clare Van Dover tied her best score at 110 and placed just behind Quade at 17th. Alaina Rausch also tallied a 110, and Korinne Roggenbuck came in with a 152.

Milbank finished third in the team standings. Lac Qui Parle Valley, Minnesota won the meet with a 356. Sisseton took second with a 402. Other team scores included Morris, fourth, 418; Ortonville, fifth, 436, and Montevideo, sixth, 462. Wheaton and WCA did not field complete teams.

The Lady Bulldogs will be back in action on Monday, May 8. They travel to Groton.
