Nearly 750 people gathered at Grant-Deuel School in Revillo for an all-school reunion Saturday, May 27. Former South Dakota Senator Jim Peterson of Revillo served as the emcee.

Peterson summarized the history of the school district and recognized the personnel. In 1963, a fire destroyed the Revillo School, which led to the formation of the Grant-Deuel School District. The current school building was opened to students in 1965. Recently, enrollment could no longer substantiate its existence, and the school closed its doors permanently on May 18, 2017.

The recipients of the Grant-Deuel Angie Boehm Memorial Scholarship were also recognized. They are Caden Wollschlager, Kaitlin Rufer, and Paige Johnson from Milbank High School.

A meal was served, and door prizes were given. The Dueling Pianos provided entertainment.
