The Milbank Area Lions Swim Team held its annual Lap-A-Thon fundraiser June 29, at Unity Square. Each swim team member sought pledges at a flat donation rate or for each lap.

Swimmers had exactly two hours to complete the task. Those who met the highest goal of 220 laps swam just over three miles in two hours. Twenty-three swimmers completed the 220-lap distance. Twenty-one finished the 110-lap distance or higher.

Swimmers who completed 220 laps included: Amaya Street, Savanna Osowski, Clare Van Dover, Presley Peschong, Maurina Street, Sam S., Jessica Van Peursem, William Karels, Isaac Sousa, Maddox Hanson, Laura Johnson, Beth Goodhart, Hope Karels, Rylie Overby, Grant Van Peursem, Makenna Osowski, Hallie Schulte, Laney Forrette, Jenna Dexter, Autumn Fox, Emma DeBoer, Trey Gloe, and Carter Gloe.

Swimmers who completed 110 laps or higher were: Rachel Schulte (216), Paul Van Dover (150), Jenna Johnson (160), Mason Cordingley (140), Kaitlyn Krause (204), Kendra Roggenbuck (126), Isabella Pauli (110), Lucas Johnson (110), Hunter Reede (112), Jacob Overby (110), Keira Steffen (110), Kennedi Sayler (120), Elexia Quintanilla (160), Liam Street (176), Elyse Reede (130), Joe Schulte (170), Jackson Hausauer (160), Aiden Quintanilla (200), Layten Osowski (150), Rylee Scoular (150) and Jacy Dexter (184).

Swimmers who completed 60 or more laps included: Danny Van Dover (68), Logan Dexter (60), Tayla Trapp (60), Laney Andrews (70), Jada Leigh Wellnitz (70), Lincoln Holscher (80), Avigail Howard (90) and Timbree Spors (80).
