The Grant County Christian Service Council will host its 2017-2018 Back to School event on Wednesday, August 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Milbank Visitor Center.
The Back to School event is for families who need assistance in obtaining school supplies for their children for the coming school year.
The application deadline is Friday, July 28. Applications are located outside the Interlakes Community Action, Inc. office on the first floor of the Grant County Courthouse. “Once your application is complete, the applicants must schedule a time with me to complete the remaining paperwork,” explained ICAP community service worker Heather Rise.
School supplies for each child will be available for pickup. Free family photos will be taken by VPD Studio of Milbank, and a picnic lunch for the entire family will be served.
