Seehafer-Ace Bucket Sale Benefits Children’s Miracle Network

Need a blue bucket? Of course you do! This bucket is special. It helps sick or hurt children. Plus, it saves you 20% on almost everything you can cram into it at Seehafer Ace Hardware. Lawn care? Light bulbs? Faucets or locks? What’s on your blue bucket list?

Seehafer Ace Hardware of Milbank and Ace Hardware stores across America are holding Blue Bucket Sales Friday and Saturday, August 4-5. All proceeds from the sale of the buckets -100%- goes to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals including Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls.

“You might be surprised how many children from the Milbank area have received help at Sanford’s castle in Sioux Falls,” says Kristi Seehafer, co-owner of Seehafer Ace Hardware. “This touches close to home for us. We are so excited and can’t wait to see how much money we can raise.”

For a minimum of a $5 donation, shoppers will receive a blue 5-gallon bucket when they enter the store. In return, shoppers will receive 20% off most things that can be fit inside the bucket. “Donations greater than $5 will also be accepted,” said Seehafer. “What is great about this is all the money will go to helping kids.”

“This is the first year the Seehafer’s store has been affiliated with the bucket sale but are so excited to be part of this now and into the future. There are 5,000 Ace stores across the country,” Kristi says. “And Ace stores are not corporate. All are all locally-owned.”
