Frances Elaine Kopitzke, age 69, of Ortonville died on August 17, 2017, at her residence in Ortonville. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Dennis O’Neill will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 21, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home in Ortonville, MN, with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mound Cemetery in Ortonville, MN.

Casket bearers will be: Al Reese; Dennis Faughn; Charles Kramer; Neil Kramer; Donald Baker Jr.; and Derek Kramer.

Honorary bearers will be: Frances’s Home Health Nurses.

Frances Elaine Kopitzke was born on November 2, 1947, at Ramsay Hospital in St. Paul, MN. She was the daughter of Henry Del Castillo and Ella (Ditty) Del Castillo. She was baptized at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in St. Paul, MN, and attended Harding High School through grade 11.
Frances married Frank Kramer on November 27, 1965. To this union, Charles and Christine Kramer were born. Frances and Frank later divorced in 1983.

Frances was united in marriage with Donald Kopitzke on October 17, 1987. To this union, Ann Kopitzke was born.

Frances was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ortonville. She enjoyed doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. Frances was a very detail oriented woman, and was proud of managing an organized budget.

Frances is survived by her husband, Donald; children: Charles Kramer of Aberdeen, SD; Christine Kramer of Ortonville, MN; and Ann Kopitzke of Shakopee, MN; brother, John (Eileen) Ditty of St. Paul, MN; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; step-brothers; step-sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ella Del Castillo; sisters: Brenda Yanka and Marcella Baker; and sister-in-law, Dorothy DeYoung.
