The Junior Busy Bees 4-H Club conducted two events in conjunction with the 2017 Grant County Achievement Days in Milbank. The club, led by Susan Karels, escorted the Milbank OST (Out of School Time) students on a tour of the 4-H Grounds during Achievement Days. The Midwest Dairy Association issued a grant for the Junior Busy Bees to serve ice cream to the students.

The Junior Busy Bees also hosted their annual poster contest. “Each student made a poster about their favorite thing they observed at the 4-H grounds during the tour,” Karels said. Winners were: Sophia Schuchard, first grade; Brooke Hendricks, second grade; Bennett Graham, third grade; Wyatt Locke, fourth grade; and Gage Anderson, fifth grade. They received a $5 gift certificate to Triple Dip Lodge, also compliments of the Midwest Dairy Association.
