The Milbank Bulldog girls tennis team battled a solid Watertown Arrow team and dropped 9-0 in the match Tuesday, September 5, at Cantine Courts. The Lady Bulldogs fell to 2-5 on the season with the loss.

“I was pleased with the way our girls battled and carried out our plan in both doubles and singles,” stated Milbank head coach Jim Dahl. “We improved our efforts to attack the net in doubles and interject tactics within our singles play to go at them as hard as we possibly could.”
Dahl also added, “there were many situations where our players did the right thing and executed very strong strokes, only to see Watertown get the ball back with authority. Watertown is very athletic and tough minded, and you can see it in the way they could battle their way out of trouble and turn the point in their favor.”
