Lady Bulldogs Defeat TZ Wambdi

The Lady Bulldogs cruised to a 3-0 victory over the Tiospa Zina Wambdi during their Homecoming week volleyball match Tuesday, September 27, at the Milbank Armory. Milbank Area improved to 8-7 for the season with the win.

Milbank dominated the entire match, and won the first two sets at 25-10 and 25-12. They took the win and the final set at 25-16.

Molly Rick led the Lady Bulldogs with 14 kills on 32-36 hitting, four aces on 10-10 serving, and 14 digs. Jaecy Engebretson had 10 kills on 19-21 hitting, 13 assists on 31-31 setting, and 12 digs. Gabbi Cummins followed with five kills on 15-16 hitting, four aces on 11-12 serving, 13 assists on 20-21 setting, and 12 digs.

Milbank travels to Hayti Thursday, September 28, to take on the Hamlin Chargers.
