Shirley Naab

Shirley Naab, age 76, of Graceville, Minnesota, who died on October 18, 2017, at Grace Home in Graceville.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Home in Graceville. Pastor Lynn Thomas will officiate, and burial will be at Graceville Consolidated Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, one hour prior to the service.

Shirley A. Naab was born on April 12, 1941, in Graceville, MN, to Fred and Loretta (Stockmeyer) Naab. She was raised on the family farm where she helped with the farm chores. In 1980, she moved to Graceville with her brother and father. She resided there until she moved into Grace Home in 2014.

Shirley attended country school through the eighth grade.

She was a gal that loved being around the farm animals. She especially liked the dogs and cats. Shirley would visit with anyone and everyone that would take the time to stop and talk. She loved being with her family and friends.

Shirley was an active resident in Graceville by participating in every activity she could. She was an avid quilter and donated many of her quilts to community fundraisers.

While Shirley resided at Grace Home, she loved taking the time to feed the fish. Daily you could see her tend to the fish and enjoy sitting quietly watching them.

Shirley is survived by her brother, Edward Naab of Graceville, MN; cousin, Linda (Alan) Anderson of Mora, MN; and special friends: Duane and Linda Rixe, and Lorraine Rixe.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Loretta (Stockmeyer) Naab.
