Mavis Storry

Mavis J. Storry, age 92, resident of Arlington Heights, IL, died on November 8, 2017. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 13, in Palatine, IL. Interment will be in Strandburg, SD on Wednesday, November 15, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Elmer Brinkman officiating at the graveside service.

Mavis was the daughter of Bert and Ella (Steen) Hedman. She was originally from Stockholm, S.D. and graduated from Milbank High School.
Mavis married Jerry Storry of Astoria, SD, and together they had three children: Alan Storry, Linda Storry, and Julie (Chuck) Stegen.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; four grandchildren: Lisa, Janelle (Dan) Schultz, Bryce, Blair (Michael) Scrudato; and four great-grandchildren: Lexi, Keegan, Jack, and Austin; and her sister, Arlin (Tom) Pendergast, of Sisseton.

Mavis was preceded in death by her parents: Bert and Ella; her husband, Jerry; and her sister, Lenore.
