Ten girls take the stage this Saturday night during the annual Snow Queen Festival. The winner of the contest will be crowned Miss Milbank along with receiving a $500 scholarship. Two new scholarships of $250 and $150 will be awarded to the first runner-up and second runner-up, respectively.
The Valley Express, sponsor of the event, welcomes everyone to attend in the Milbank High School theatre at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Advanced tickets for the Snow Queen Festival can be purchased at Bat Mobile Wireless in Milbank through Friday. Tickets will also be available at the high school on Saturday from noon to three and prior to the Festival at the door. The charge is $5.
In addition to crowning the next Miss Milbank, 32 kindergarten girls will participate in the Little Miss Milbank contest. American Idol Contestants Sam and Abbey Converse will also entertain the crowd.

The After Party will be held following the crowning of the 2017 Snow Queen at Speedway from 9 until midnight. Open to the public, The After Party will feature a live band and food with a cover charge of just $5.
