The American Red Cross Bloodmobile exceeded its goal of 103 units during the blood drive November 20, at Unity Square in Milbank, “We did a trial run with signing up people for appointments solely online,” stated organizer Margaret Skoog. “Even though many did not come to their scheduled appointment, we also had a lot who did register ahead of time online that I was unaware of. Despite all that, we met our goal, which is the bottom line.”

The drive produced 106 good units of blood – nine people were deferred. The local drive also said goodbye to three long-time donors due to health issues- Dennis Skoog, Dick Forester, and Duane Fish. American Lutheran Church, represented by Carol Kirchberg, Sandy Kathman, and Brenda Maass, was in charge of the drive and provided food and drinks.
