It’s time to deck the malls and storefronts! Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce directors, Laura Kelly and Chelcie Eischens, announce the start of the annual Christmas Storefront Decorating Contest.
Sign up and decorate your storefront before December 2. “There is no specific theme, so feel free to get creative and have some fun with this,” says Kelly. All businesses are welcome. To qualify, decorations must be visible from the street, and the business must be registered to be included in the judging.
The anonymous panel of judges deliberates between December 2 and December 9. Three winners will be announced at the Holiday Gathering at the Speedway Event Center on Saturday, December 9, as part of the 2nd Annual Winter Wonderland Festival. The Holiday Gathering immediately follows the Lighted Parade, which begins at 5:30 p.m.
