Do you ever feel like you’re walking a tightrope between big career dreams and little humans? Audrey Jo Rider, author of Uniquely You, takes you on a journey from comparison to confidence, imperfection to uniqueness, and panic to planning! The Grant County Public Library, in conjunction with their adult reading program – Build a Better World,- helps Build a Better You as Rider shares her story on March 19, at 6:30 pm.

Discover the support system already built into your life. Find the courage to set and reach your goals and the empowerment to be a working mother without guilt or shame. Rider explains how your life can be rich, fulfilling, and flexible when you embrace her simple methods. Don’t forget to bring your book. Rider will also host an autograph session.

Rider graduated from SDSU with a M.S. degree in Child and Family Studies and a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education. She is an SDSU Extension Early Childhood Field Specialist based at the Watertown Regional Center. Rider is a 4-H alumna and has been involved with Extension since she served as a summer assistant in 2003. She lives near Henry, South Dakota with her husband, Johnny, and two daughters.
