While everyone was busy watching a royal wedding, another princess in a land far away also began preparing for a life- changing journey. A proclamation by cancer doctors saying that five year-old Bella Radermacher is cancer free has her family and friends rejoicing and the young princess preparing for an exciting new life. Tomorrow Princess Bella leaves the hospital in Sioux Falls she has called home for over a year to wend her way back to her true palace in Odessa.

Like the princess she is, Bella will be accompanied by her parents Tabitha and Travis Radermacher, her brother, Ian, and fire trucks, police cars, and the motorcycle group Way West ABATE.

Last year. Way West ABATE- American Bikers for Awareness, Training and Education held a ride as a fundraiser to help with Bella’s medical expenses. When they found out Bella was to be released from the Children’s Castle in Sioux Falls, they again leapt to her rescue. They decided she deserved a trip fit for a princess.

If you would like to join the motorcade, Way West ABATE encourages everyone on a motorcycle, in a car, or just standing to line the Royal route. Bella and her family are expected to arrive in Clear Lake around 3 p.m. The Clear Lake Sheriff and fire trucks will escort her until the turnoff on Highway 15 going towards Milbank. The Milbank Fire Department, the Grant County Sheriff Department, and the Milbank Police Department will meet Bella outside of Milbank on Hwy 15 and escort them onto Highway 12 and through town. The Big Stone and Ortonville departments will do the same as the family motors through. The Odessa Fire Department will meet them outside Ortonville until Bella is home.

Throughout her diseases, Bella has proved to be an inspiration. Bella was diagnosed with Stage 4 liver cancer on April 28,2017 after her parents discovered a bump on her stomach. “We went to the doctor thinking it was a little hernia,” said Tabitha. “She has always been completely healthy, so we never suspected anything like this.” It’s been a long battle for Bella, but in the end she proved victorious.

Tomorrow- It’s going to be a big day for a princess and her family. . It’s also a day to remind us all – dreams really do come true.
