Dave Zinter Wins Mower in Raffle

Dave Zinter of Milbank won the John Deere lawn mower given away in the annual Fraternal Order of the Police (FOP) raffle. Paisley Steffenson took home a new washer and dryer, and Crystal Cochran won the 5 X 8 trailer. All prizes were purchased locally.

The FOP uses 100 percent of the funds raised through the local raffle for events and support of organizations in Grant County. The Grant County FOP sponsors: Christmas With a Cop, the Milbank High School Scholarship Fund, the Christmas hay ride, and DARE events at St. Lawrence School and Koch School. The Grant County FOP gives gas cards to cancer patients. It also supports the Grant County Food Pantry, Hurley Winter Park, and the Milbank Ball Diamond Association.
