Milbank Snow Queen Contest Offers Senior Girls Scholarship Money

All local senior girls are invited to experience the tradition of the Milbank Snow Queen contest. The event, held November 10, will be the second Festival sponsored by The Valley Express. “The Snow Queen Festival is a chance for all senior girls to take center stage and create lasting memories. This also allows them the opportunity to become eligible for scholarship money,” noted Kathy Ward of The Valley Express. “We are excited to continue this long-standing tradition and look forward to the continued success of The Milbank Snow Queen Festival.”

The winner of the contest will be crowned Miss Milbank along with receiving a $500 scholarship. Last year, the Valley Express added the addition of two new scholarships. A $250 scholarship will be awarded to the first runner-up, while the second runner-up will be awarded a $150 scholarship.
