The MHS Oral Interp Team won the Class A Oral Interp Regions on Tuesday, November 13. According to Coach Natasha Karels, “All of our competitors qualified for State; they each had to place in the top three to qualify in their event.” The state competition will be held in Watertown on November 30, and December 1.
Members winning first place were: Caitlin Kroemer in Poetry, Lars Andersen and Hope Osborn in Duo, and Nathan Loutsch in Humor. The Readers Theater comprised of Lars Andersen, Landon Brown, Hope Osborn, and Peyten Wiese took second place, as did Hope Osborn in the Serious division. Kylee Mogan in Non-Original Oratory and Peyten Wiese in Storytelling each earned a third place finish.
