200 Freestyle – 2:10.29 (1st)

Coach Street added, “Hope Karels had a huge time drop in the 100 Breaststroke, dropping 28.01 seconds from her summer time. Savanna Osowski also had a significant drop in her 400IM cutting 30.18 seconds off her last year’s time. Jessica VanPeursem is new to the year-round team captured a second place finish in the 200 Butterfly. I feel we are off to a good start and need to continue to learn how to attack our turns during the short course yard season.”

The Sea Lions compete in the Candy Cane Invitational in Watertown on December 1, and December 2.
