The Grant County Courthouse remained spruced up all during the holidays with 18 trees decorated for the 27th Annual Festival of Christmas Trees. The Grant County Library won first place with its tree The S’more you Read the S’more you Know! Stateline 4-H Club took second place with their We Salute our Veterans tree. Third place was awarded to Bat Mobile Wireless and their tree decorated to Cell-ebrate the Holidays.
Trees are judged and earn cash awards sponsored by the Grant County Commissioners. Trees are evaluated on: theme, attention-getting qualities, coordination of color and decorations, creativity, holiday and community spirit, signage, overall appearance, and adherence to the guidelines.
