Sandy Schell resigned from her position as kindergarten teacher at Koch Elementary School. The Milbank School District Board of Education accepted her letter of resignation at their board meeting on Wednesday, January, 9.  Mrs. Schell’s retirement becomes effective at the end of the 2018-2019 school year.

Mrs. Schell has been employed by the Milbank School District for 43 years. For all but seven of the years, she taught kindergarten. She said, “I am looking forward to a little bit of traveling and spending more time with family. Also, some volunteering and substitute teaching (with the little ones).”

Mrs. Schell said, “It was a great teaching career and was made that way by administration and a school board that was always up with the times and supported me all the way!”
