Joyce Johnson submitted her letter of resignation on Wednesday, January 9, to the Milbank School District Board of Education. Johnson has been employed as a special education instructor in the Milbank School District since 1995. Mrs. Johnson began teaching in the Koch School and in 1999 moved to the Middle School-High School.
Johnson’s resignation becomes effective at the end of the 2018-2019 school term. She says she looks forward to retirement and spending more time with her family.
Johnson said, “It has been a most rewarding experience working with the exceptional staff and administration throughout the district. Milbank School District is an outstanding district and I have been so thankful to be part of this organization.”
