America’s birthday party is the 4th of July. Want to add some candles to its cake? How about some Roman candles? Raffle tickets to help purchase fireworks for the annual Independence Day fireworks show at Farley Park in Milbank are on sale now. Get one for just $5 or five for only $20. Pick them up at Whimsy on Main, Great Western Bank, Speedway, or the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce office.
The drawing will also be held on the 4th of July at 8 p.m. at Farley Park. You don’t need need to be present to win, but go for the raffle, see your friends, and stay for the spectacular fireworks show!
Prizes are valued at $25 and higher and include: 1st prize – Vision Grill – a $900 value (Donated by United Hardware.); 2nd prize – $300 Waldner Meat Gift Certificate; 3rd prize – Orca Cooler (Donated by United Hardware.) 4th prize – Kayak and Paddle; and 5th prize – 10-quart Air Fryer. Or win a Zero Gravity lounge chair, a Yeti tumbler, an Ugly Stik fishing rod, or gift certificates from your favorite merchant.
