James “Jim” Reynolds, age 88, resident of Graceville, MN, died on May 18, 2019, at Clinton Care Center in Clinton, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Graceville, MN. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home in Graceville with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to services on Thursday. Pastor Eugene Andrus will officiate, and burial will be at Clinton City Cemetery.

James Evert Reynolds was born on January 1, 1931, in Stevens Township of Stevens County, MN, to Theodore and Emma (Johnson) Reynolds. He attended school in District 19 through eighth grade, moved, and lived on the farm near Graceville.

On December 10, 1949, James was united in marriage with Mary Louise Roberts at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Graceville. To this union, four children (Allan, Mark, Karen, and Colleen) were born. James and Mary Louise farmed in the Clinton and Graceville area their entire married life.

He served on the HRA Board, was a member of the Farm Bureau, served on the Big Stone County Board, and served on the Graceville Township Board. Jim collected International tractors along with toy and model International tractors. He enjoyed visiting and sharing his coffee time with anyone who would sit and visit with him.

Jim is survived by his children: Allan (Joyce) Reynolds, Mark (Jackie) Reynolds, and Colleen (Merlyn) Ebsen; grandchildren: Andria (Robyn), Rick, Brandi (Mark), Kaila, Blaine (Raechel), Danielle (Curtis), and Colby (Melissa); step-grandchildren: Ryan, Chad (Erin), Cory (Betty), and Desiree (Josh); great-grandchildren: Gretchen, Payton, Alex, Jameson, and Bentley; step-great-grandchildren: Zoey, Zack, Willow, Cora, and Miles; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary in 2013; his daughter, Karen Kay Reynolds; and his parents.
