Come out swinging! It’s the 14th Annual Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Scramble on Friday, June 21. The afternoon begins with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. at Whetstone Creek Golf Course just north of Milbank. (Formerly Pine Hills Golf Course.)
The 18-hole, four-person scramble is limited to the first 72 golfers. One team member must be a member of the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce, and only one person per team is allowed to have a USGA handicap under 10. Entry fee is $45, which includes the round of golf and dinner.
Rent a golf cart for $10 per person. Mulligans will cost you $10 for two, and buy a drive is just $10 per team and available on two holes. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third places teams. Individual hole prizes and door prizes will also be awarded.
Laurie Folk, director of the Milbank Area Chamber, says, “This is also a great opportunity for chamber members to introduce non-member business people to one of our fun signature events.”
