Linda Teske

Linda Teske of Ortonville, MN, died on June 6, 2019, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ortonville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday. Burial will be at Mound Cemetery at a later date.

Linda Kay (Nelson) Teske was born on April 3, 1952, in Graceville, MN. She was the daughter of Gilfred and Violet (Arndt) Nelson. She grew up in the Beardsley area and graduated from Beardsley High school in 1970. After graduation, Linda worked at Foster Lodge, her mother’s restaurant, where she met Roland “Ron” Teske. They were united in marriage on December 27, 1974. To this union, three children were born: Hal, Cal, and Joett.

Linda worked in housekeeping at Northridge Residence in Ortonville. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. She cherished her coffee time with Liz and Tonya.

Linda is survived by her children: Hal (Brenda) Teske of Milbank, SD; Cal (Tiffany) Teske of Cottonwood, MN; and Joett (Derrick) Nicholson of Milbank, SD; seven grandchildren: Ria, Haeli, Bridget, Landon, Caleb, Sean and Morgan; brother, Steve (Debbie) Nelson of Clinton, MN; sisters-in-law: Nadine Teske of Blaine, MN; Susie Nelson of Beardsley, MN; and Jan (Merv) Redfield of Ortonville, MN; brothers-in-law, Fran Boothby Wheaton, MN; and Larry Cardwell of Beardsley, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron in 2018; sisters: Mary Jane Boothby and Joanne Cardwell; and brother, Jerome Nelson.
