Teen participants in the 2019 Summer Reading Program at the Grant County Library in Milbank concluded their activities with an after hours party and awards ceremony on July 17. Top readers were: (l. to r.) First-place winner Alexis Schwagel, who read 9,549 pages; second-place winner Jordan McKillip; and third-place winner Aiden McKillip.
The 2019 teen group had 11 more participants and read 50,880 pages, an increase from 30,750 pages read in 2018. This summer’s theme was Universe of Stories.
