Top Readers Announced for Grant County Library Summer Reading

Top readers were announced in the preschool to fifth grade summer reading program at the Grant County Public Library. Samuel Biggs was Champion and Kyler Brandenburger was the Reserve Champion in the first and second grade division. Pierce Mathiason was Champion and Thomas Bass was Reserve Champion in the third, fourth, and fifth grade division. Vivian Mathiason was Reserve Champion and Bennett Schwandt was Champion in the preschool and kindergarten division.

Universe of Stories was the theme nationwide for the 2019 Summer Reading Program. Milbank’s youngest readers logged 3,054 hours – an increase of approximately 600 hours from 2018. Participation also increased by 30 children.
