Noah Mursu, a senior at MHS, has been chosen as the September Student of the Month. He is the son of Chris and Twila Mursu.

Noah’s extracurricular activities include band, choir, FFA, HOSA, National Honor Society, theater productions, and the blood drive. He was selected as a member of Citizenship Washington Focus and attended Boys State.

Outside of school, Noah participates in 4-H and youth group, and serves as a high school Sunday school teacher. He also works at OST in Big Stone City.

When asked about his favorite class, he chose science, especially biology. He says it is because, “I like learning how and why the world works.” After graduation, Noah plans to get a bachelor’s degree in biology or animal science and become a veterinarian.
