The City of Milbank-Wastewater team won the People’s Choice award for their entry in the 2019 Milbank Chamber Parade of Lights. The team members — Darin Thiele, Jesse Morton, and Ryan Spanton — say they worked for six to seven hours to complete the float. Their ingenious design allows for all the doors on the truck to remain operable. Look for them around town as they plan to keep the lights on through the holidays.

Whetstone Valley Electric sponsored the Parade of Lights  and donated the prize of $200 in Ol’ Mill bucks. What do the guys plan to do with the money? Thiele says,” We’re going to buy more lights. Wait till you see what we come up with next year!”
