The Adult Winter Reading Program begins February 1 at the Big Stone Library. Patrons 18 years of age and older can register by emailing bsclibrary12@hotmail.com or stopping by the library during regular hours. Every patron who registers receives a free pocket-sized notebook to record the titles they read.

The program runs for eight weeks and awards weekly prizes. Each book – fiction, non fiction, audio or e-book, when returned to library, earns the patron an entry into that week’s prize drawing. All e-book readers need to show the book title on their device to the librarian in order for the book to qualify for the drawing.

There will also be a drawing on the last day – March 28- from all the names who did not win a weekly prize, till all the prizes have been gven away.

Check out books and audiobooks from the Big Stone City Branch Library or download e-books and audio books from the South Dakota Titles to Go-Overdrive/Libby through Grant County Library System.

The Big Stone City Branch Public Library is located at 400 Washington Street in Big Stone City. Entry is through the south door of the Big Stone City Community Center.
