The Soup Day tradition at St. Lawrence continues to warm hearts and tummies. Grandparents and the elderly are invited to join the students and staff for a bowl of warm soup on Tuesday, January 28 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the St. Lawrence gym.

In celebration of Catholic Schools Week and as a thank you to the community, the sixth graders prepare soup, fifth graders serve and clean up, and fourth graders are in charge of set up. All students in kindergarten through sixth grade decorate the placemats.

Tuesday is also Time Travel Day. Students will dress up in the decade they would you like to travel to…..See Laura Ingalls Wilder, Babe Ruth, or someone else from the past or maybe even someone from the future.
