Valley Queen Heritage Center Closed Until Further Notice

According to Callie Curley, communications coordinator for Valley Queen Cheese Factory, Valley Queen has closed their Heritage Center until further notice. Operations at the factory continue. Curley says the plant continues to act with an abundance of caution including implementing these preventative measures to protect our employees and ensure the continual pickup of milk from our nearly 40 supplying dairy farms across the region.
*Continual reinforcement of existing hygiene and sanitation procedures.
*Additional cleaning of high-traffic touchpoints.
*Screening visitors and employees returning from travel.
*Restricting access to plant and offices by lock-controlling doors until visitors have been cleared, and preventing outside truck drivers from entering the plant.
*Transitioning employee meetings and non-essential meetings with outside vendors to web conferences.
