The Big Stone City Branch Library will remain open with regular hours. Janelle Kelly, branch manager of BSCBL, says, “The library is kept clean. The door handles and checkout desk are frequently wiped with disinfectant. All returned books are also wiped before they are returned to the shelves. At the end of each day, disinfectant is sprayed around the entire library.” Kelly says, “We are also asking patrons to use hand sanitizer when they enter the library.”

“If you are not comfortable coming into the library, email us and we will make arrangements to get items to you,” she says. “Contact the library if you are home with the kids and would like children’s books, movies, book kits with activity pages, games or floor puzzles. We will make arrangements to get them to you.”

Kelly says, “This year the library will not be hosting its annual Easter party, but the book sale will continue through May 20.”

The Big Stone City Branch Library is on the south side of the Big Stone Community Center at 400 Washington Street in Big Stone City. It is one of three branches in the Grant County Library system.
