Emergency Session of Commissioners Result in Courthouse Closure

Grant County auditor, Karen Layher, said, “After an emergency meeting of the Commission, it was decided to close the Grant County Courthouse to the public effective Tuesday, March 24. The office staff are reporting to work. A drop box has been placed outside the south entrance of the Courthouse for individuals to drop off envelopes to be delivered to the respective office.”

She continued with, “Office contact information is posted on the entrance doors. Please call the office you need to contact for further instructions.”

Layher added, “We encourage the county residents to stay safe, to practice social distancing and to remember to check on one another. By working together, we will get through these challenging times. Be safe and please call if you have any questions.”​
