Michael Pauli, age 69, of Milbank, SD, passed away on June 28, 2020, at his home in Milbank.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank for immediate family. If you still wish to pay your respects, you may drop off cards and/or sign the register book for the family at the funeral home. The memorial service will be live-streamed and recorded and will be viewable on the Mundwiler Funeral Home website.

Michael Edward Pauli was born on April 9, 1951, in Milbank, SD, to Melvin and Betty (Hublou) Pauli. He was raised on a farm near Twin Brooks, SD, and graduated from Milbank High School. Michael attended the Airplane Mechanic Program at Lake Area Technical School in Watertown, SD.

On September 1, 1974, Michael was united in marriage with Nancy Schultz. Together, they made their home in Milbank. A few years later, Mike and Nancy welcomed their daughter, Rica, into their lives. Mike worked at Cold Spring Granite until his retirement.

Mike enjoyed building and flying model airplanes. He had a passion for flying and started construction on his very own plane. Mike loved making fireworks, building computers, and tinkering with electronics of all kinds. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and going on family camping trips. Most of all, Mike cherished his Sunday morning family breakfasts, the time he spent with his family, and of course, his dogs.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy Pauli; his daughter, Rica Pauli; siblings: Jerald (Cheryl) Pauli, Tom (Linda) Pauli, Pat (Loren) Carson, and Liz (Bill) LaVoy; siblings-in-law: Ann (Roger) Loeschke, Richard (Dawn) Schultz, and Cynthia (Lee) Schumacher; along with several nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Betty Pauli; and father-in-law, Donald Schultz.
