The Milbank High School Vocal Music Department will perform in concert on Monday, Oct. 21. The choir’s annual fall concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the MHS theater.
The group, under the direction of Miriam Schwenn, will present a wide variety of music. The Crawdad Song” by Greg Gilpin; “Kuimba” (Sing) with percussion by Victor Johnson; “Let the River Run” arranged by John Higgins; “Nine Hundred Miles” arranged by Philip E. Silvey; and “Ad Astra (To the Stars…) by Jacob Narverud are all on the evening’s program. In addition, MHS alumnus Matt Paulson will share the stage to sing a few songs in celebration of the first concert of the season.
Everyone is invited. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are $3 and $5.
